Is there really a free tier forever?

Yes. One automation, two social accounts, thirty posts a month, plus the link shortener, templates, CSV import, and the full publishing engine on all 13 networks — free, no card. The free tier is deliberately sized to prove the loop works for you on one source; once you have multiple feeds or want an AI assistant driving things, Starter is $9.

What counts as a 'post'?

One delivery to one social account = one post. So a single RSS item that fans out to three networks counts as three posts against your monthly cap. Failed retries don't double-count.

Is the calendar a Pro-only feature?

No. The whole calendar — Month + Agenda views, ideas, drag-and-drop, multi-channel idea fan-out, the day drawer, CSV bulk import — works on every tier including Free. What's gated is how many categories & campaigns you can have, and the Streams analytics tab (per-category and per-campaign performance) which is Pro-only.

I'm on the old Business plan — what happens to me?

Nothing — your account keeps all the same caps it had (15 accounts, unlimited automations, 3,000 posts/month, 5 MCP keys). We consolidated to three tiers on the public pricing page because Business and Pro were doing the same job. You won't be charged differently and nothing changes in your dashboard.

What does the loop actually do for me?

Feedloop polls a source you connect (an RSS feed, your Mastodon, your IG, etc.), formats every new item per network — applying hashtags, image overrides, and your message template — then publishes or queues it everywhere you've connected. You set it once. The loop runs forever.

What's an MCP key and why do I want one?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and Gemini use to talk to outside tools. Mint a key in your dashboard, paste it into your AI client, and the AI can list your feeds, draft posts, schedule them, check analytics — every dashboard action becomes a tool the AI can call on your behalf. MCP is included on Starter and Pro. Each key authenticates one device or AI client, so 3 keys on Pro means 'Claude on your laptop + ChatGPT on your phone + Cursor at work'.

Honest answer: Feedloop is run by a small team. Free users can email us via the contact form and we'll do our best to reply, but with no promised SLA. Starter and Pro come with email support — we typically reply within one business day. There's no fake 'priority phone line' or 'dedicated account manager' tier here; if you need a deeper integration or have a specific question, email and we'll talk.
